AK or DS on Labor Day Saturday?

OMG! So totally yeah! I was able to add an extra night onto our package so now we are getting in on Friday September 1st! That means I now get to pick a park for Saturday to visit!

We decided on Saturday AM we are going to go to either AK or DS. Then we will do the other park on Sunday AM.

DS has EMH that AM so we could take advantage of that ... BUT ... it may be smarter to go to AK on Saturday and save Sunday for DS ... therefore avoiding the EMH crowd.

I am not too worried about Sunday because things should be clearing out by then ... I am mostly worried about Saturday crowds.

So what would you do? AK or DS?

We have another AM planned at DS ... but whatever day we choose for AK would be the only day we are there.

DS has the Tom Joyner Family Reunion that weekend and I believe that all festivities are held there. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the package came with admission to only DS, so that may be a park to avoid that Saturday, as it will be jam packed because of EMH and all the people for the Reunion. That is my first day there as well, and I am actually planning on hitting MK. According to touringplans.com, that is a park to go to for that day.

Of COURSE touringplans.com would list BOTH DS and AK the worst parks to visit on that day! I had a feeling that Saturday was bad for AK.

Hmmmmm .... If I do MK than we will be done with MK early in the trip and with two little ones I'm not sure that is too good.

We have Epcot on another day and can't change that due to our LeCelliar ADR's which I am NOT giving up! LOL!

Decisions ... decisions. Maybe I will play around with it some more.

CMM - you are so right! AK during the day DS party at night.

OK ... so I think we will go with EMH at the DS on Saturday and will just plan on leaving really early in the day before it gets too crowded. We have another day at DS anyway so it's just icing on the cake.

If we arrive at 8 we will be tired and ready to leave by noon anyway.

I will save AK for Sunday as that was the day we had planned for that anyway.
