I'm usually one to get the earliest Fastpasses possible to free up additional passes quickly, and do full days at the parks. A baby (now toddler) has shown up and basically just taken over our lives so it is time for a change. I'm thinking AK and HS are now half day parks since WDW will for some reason not let a 20 month old on RnR, ToT, Everest, or Dinosaur.
Since AK closes early, I figured we could do a rope drop and go on the Safari first thing, single ride Everst, catch an early Lion King show, and then suffer through Dino Land to appease the child before lunch.
After lunch and nap, head to HS with Fastpasses for Toy Story, Frozen, and whatever else. Hang around for Fantasmic if the kid makes it without a meltdown.
Does this make sense, and is it doable without Fastpasses at AKL in the morning? We'll be there after labor day so hopefully with lower crowds.
