Sorry this is a bit long for a simple question. Just trying to show my thinking.

Going in February and trying to plan out our days. We have hoppers and are planning on one AK day (we will have one other free morning to do something we want on our last day). The day we are going is crowd level 2 with AK being second recommended. We have a tusker house ADR at 1150. If you were going would you FP Everset, Dino, and safari or save them for that evening for MSEP and wishes?

Keep going back and forth. Will the lines be short enough in the morning (probably will get there just about 9 Maybe not rope drop) to do Dino, triceratops spin, go to the boneyard, ride to EE, and maybe see at least one of the trails before our ADR? Could we do safari before too? If not, how long are the waits at the busiest time of day for safari? We will also try to see lion king show at the end but if we don't make it not a huge deal.

If we can get that all done easily I think I'd like to try to FP the MK things (if they're available). While I know we can see these things without FP may be nice to have a nice view without trying to stake out a place an hour in advance (honestly if we don't FP we will just try to find a spot close to when they start even if it kinda sucks). Using FP for these won't be a waste in a sense because we will have 3 MK days with FPs for rides.

The most direct answer is to, when booking in advance, first try for the MK event FPs.
If you can't get them, do the AK FPs.

(AK is the park that generally least needs FP.)

We went this week to AK around 10 on a crowd level 4 day with EMH at 8. We had an 11:50 dining reservation and 3 FP booked for the day. We ended up canceling the FP and rebooking for MK. Before lunch, we did Dinosaur (no wait), expedition Everest (15 min wait), and Kali river Rapids (5 min wait). The only long wait was safari (65 min) but we weren't doing that. So, if you head straight to safari at 9, I don't think you will need FP. Interestingly, I checked wait times while we were eating and Safari has gone from 65 to 20 min.
