I keep reading about the food being good and sitting outside. Is there an inside sitting option?

Yes, the food is excellent!!! We cannot wait to eat there on our upcoming trip - there is no indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating. The seating area we like best surrounds an above ground manmade pond - it has beautiful scenery and very shady so it helps keep it a little cooler. Check out the menu at www.allearsnet.com - the salad is the best, mostly b/c the dressing is incredible!!

Thanks for the quick reply! Is there any cafeteria type restaurant nearby you could take your food to? Eating a meal would be a good way to get out of the rain (or heat or cold) for a bit but it doesn't sound easy to do for the Flame Tree. We ate somewhere else outside at AK and had issues with ants and some flying bugs and I find myself worried about some aggressive birds I've heard about (not at AK but somewhere)! Just prefer indoor dining if possible.

It's a great meal.. the Best BBQ. I love the ribs! They do have covered seating, and it is all secluded so it feels very smallish but there are loads of different seating areas. The covered areas have fans and condiment stations, with napkins etc. We have eaten there many times in the rain.. and we stayed dry and it was a magical time. Un fortunately, there are not any close cafeterias or rest. near that you could walk to. Pizzafari and the restaurant in Dino land are the closest and they are not that close.

Don't miss this one because it is outside.. one of my favourites~ almost the fav!

If you prefer indoor seating, but want food fast, your only other two options at AK would be Tusker's (my families personal favorite!) or Pizzafari. The other indoor option, is Rain Forest Cafe, but that is a sitdown full service restaurant. You can check out the menus at www.allearsnet.com to see if any of these options have food that would appeal to your families taste and budget.

my 2DD's & I ate at the flame tree BBQ in july. the food was great. but the birds outside were autrocious. we had to sit under a tree and they kept landing in the branches overhead, and walking right up to the table. My oldest even got a little" suprize" on her backpack from one .

But the food really was great!

The birds will stand around and watch you, and as soon as you leave they'll jump on your table and start looking for crumbs.

Don't feed them, it makes them worse.

I did get pressured into sharing a corncob with a squadron of vicious ducklings.
