AK extending hours

I've noticed that hours (especially in the morning) for AK were fairly recently extended from now through Easter and the whole spring break season. Since this isn't true at the other parks I'm guessing it is due to the constant demand for Pandora. Anyone have any speculation as to whether the 8 AM opening will be extended through to May or will possible lower crowds keep it at normal 9-9 hours? I am going early May and want to schedule the wild africa trek, but am considering how best to schedule around opening hours.

All hour are updated about a month out. I wouldn't necessarily consider it giving more hours due to Pandora, but I guess it could be. I'd lean more towards they go with the 8am opening because AK usually tends to close on the earlier side.

I'd just plan for what you see at the time you want to book your trek but keep an eye on the hours.
