AK EMH ADR question/decision

So Ive had my adrs for about a month now and of course Im second guessing myself and thought Id ask your advice.

In the morning the kids are doing a pirate cruise at the yacht club and the original plan was spoodles for dinner at 5.40 and an epcot day - we are staying at the BWI and have park hoppers.

but....its extra evening magic hours at AK in august during free dining.
Now I'm thinking go to AK around 3 after hanging around the pool and then try and get a adr for wcc, wave or another resort restaurant for about 8.30ish.

what do you think original plan or emh?

Sounds like a lot of running around. Why not go to AK, stay put, and try Tusker House or head over to Boma at AKL rather than running clear across property to eat?

Animal Kingdom's Boma is absolutely fantastic. It is my favorite when we go. If you go you have to get the zebra domes for desert. We have always stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge when we visit so we always make at least one ADR at Boma's. They also have a fantastic breakfast. It is only a short bus ride from the park and there are walking trails that you can go on to see some of the animals. Have fun!

tusker house has no availability for that evening and we have done boma and jiko twice the last two years - but thanks for your advice - we were hoping to branch out this year. I think I might try for a later spoodles time that way when its time to eat we will already be "home"
