Which park has more to do and see? Which one will take more time to visit? Can anyone give me A guess as to how many hours are needed for each? We don't want to rush through them we want to enjoy ourselves. Any help?

AK recommendations: Safari, Bugs Life, Kali River, Dinosaur, conservation station and The Lion King Show - We can be done this park (from opening) by 1pm.

MGM: Tower of Terror, RocknRoller Coaster, Beauty & the Beast Show, Muppets, Indiana Jones, Fantasmic - usually a full day.

Unless you're not interested in shows, I'd say MGM would take longer. Really though, it depends on your interets and what you are or are not willing to see. If you want to see it all, you'll be there a whole day. If you skip a specific type of attraction (thrills, shows, kid-oriented rides), then you will most likely not be there the whole day. Personally, on my last trip to AK, I did Kilimanjaro Safaris, Pangani and Maharajah trails, Tarzan Rocks, It's Tough to be a Bug, and the parade and left by 5pm taking things at a fairly steady pace. I didn't even see any of the rides in Dinoland, anything in Camp Minnie-Mickey, Kali River Rapids, or Rafiki's Planet Watch.

It also really depends on what your family make up is. My boys (4 & 2 at visit last October) could've spent hours in the dinosaur playland, climbing and sliding and digging in the sand. We spent 1.5 hours there alone, two different days, but I figure it's their vacation too and they still talk about it and want to go back. They just had a great time there. We did all the shows and rides (that they were big enough for) but it's the playland they still talk about! :bounce:
