AK Counter Service Help Please...

We have the free QSDP for this May and I am literally stumped on what to eat at AK, seriously. Now no hate please, but we are not fans of BBQ at all. Everyone loves Flame Tree and I guess if you like BBQ that would be great but no go for us.

What would be your second choice if not Flame Tree?? What is some great foods you have eaten at AK? Thanks so much. I am looking forward to your replies

I shy away from pizza, and went to Flame Tree, instead, but my wife and daughters found Pizzafari to be pretty good.

My DS LOVES pizza and ate at Pizzafari and enjoyed it. The rest of us ate at Restaraunasorus and enjoyed it- the burgers and chicken nuggets were both good. They have a topping bar as well as a beverage bar for refills.

I'm not a fan of it but if you're good with mall type Chinese food there is the Anandapur Cafe quick service by Yak & Yeti. If you're a burgers and nuggets type there is Restaurantosaurus.

We just ate at the counter service near Yak and Yeti and found it to be very tasty with large portions and nice crisp veggies.

While we usually stop off at FTBBQ, on this past trip we decided to head to Restaurantasorus and had a pretty good meal. My fiancee had the veggie sandwich which she liked and I had the Digsite Salad, which was tastey and refreshing.

We're not into BBQ either and are going to try Yak &Yeti CS in June

We didn't do FT this last trip but we did eat at Pizzafari.

DD12 had the Pepperoni Pizza with Caesar Salad $9.49 and my DM and I shared the Hot Italian-Style Sandwich served with Carrot Sticks or Chips $8.99. DD liked her pizza and we enjoyed the sandwich. Very tasty.

There are some other good items at FT even if you don't like BBQ. We've had the Fruit Plate - seasonal sliced fruit plate served with honey yogurt $6.99 several times and found it very tasty. And we felt like we were eating healthier too.

I tried to find a pix of it but can't locate it. You can google it though and see some. It's a nice sized plate with larger pieces of fruit. More than enough for my DM and I to eat.

We really liked Yak & Yeti CS. Standard chinese food but they give you a lot and my dd ate most of hers which is generally not something she does. So it was a winner for us!

We like Y&Y CS. Chix fried rice is good. The fries are good too. We usually split an order of one or the other. More of a snack than a meal. Pizzafari is ok and its indoors.

We've eaten at all the CS in AK, many times. We're not fans of Flame Tree or Pizzafari. We like Restarauntosaurus - the burger here is actually very good, and we also enjoy Yak & Yeti.

We are fans of Pizzafari here. DH orders a pizza w/ salad, I order the Italian sandwich and we split them. LOL That way we get both! DS likes the pizza there. Teen boys aren't hard to please though.

Last October my bestie and I got drinks and sat in the area around the Yak and Yet CS w/ the sleeping baby while the boys all went on Kali River Rapids. The food looked and smelled very good. We had dinner plans or we might have sampled some!

I personally think Pizzafari is gross. I dont like their pizza at all.
Since your not BBQ fans, I'd recommend either Y&Y QS, or restaurantosaurus.

We liked Pizzafari and thought the pizzas and salads were good. We also liked that there was plenty of indoor seating.

Our family with toddlers along liked Pizzafari, but I don't think any of us got pizza.
