AK Bus Question

How late do the buses run to AK? We are thinking about Boma for dinner one night. I also want to see AKL since I've never been there. We'll be staying at POR or POFQ, so we figured we'd just come back via DTD. But I was wondering if the AK buses run to AK an hour before they close, which would likely be 6pm, I guess.

DAK has been closing at 5pm during the off-season. That starts this week.

You need to be in the bus before closing, so you're last bus could be as early as 4:40.

If you're just trying to get to AKLodge from POR/POFQ (and not actually go into AK park), I'd take the bus to Epcot and switch there to the bus to AKL. I was at POFQ this year and used Epcot as a transfer point on my way home from dinner at WL, and it worked well.

boma and the lodge are worth the effort.

check the closing time at mk, epcot and hs. since buses run for an hour after closing time, take the latest closing time and go to that park.

it is worth it to go even if you have to take a return cab.
