AK bus after park closes plus eating at Rainforest

We are hoping to make Rainforest Cafe ADRS for right around the time the park closes. We do not plan to rent a car this trip and hope to use the buses. I have heard the buses keep running until the parks are empty, but does that include Rainforest Cafe since it is technically not inside the park?

(We are staying at Swan which I know uses a different company now, but we would hop on a bus to one of the other boardwalk area hotels if they are the only ones running. I'm just not sure how long any of them will run!)

You should be fine.

Buses typically keep running at least an hour plus or later after park close so you should be fine, worst case scenario you can ask a transportation CM at the park entrance and they will ensure you get safely to your resort even if they have to dispatch another bus.

Unless it's been discontinued because of Covid or some other reason, once the AK closes and is clear of all Guests and the regular buses have been reassigned, a few buses will stay behind and stage in the loop closest to the Rainforest. Bus transportation CMs monitor the situation inside the restaurant and at the bus boarding point. As customers exit the Rainforest they'll be directed to the next bus waiting in line. That bus will take Guests to their WDW resort. Most times it's a direct ride but sometimes they'll make two or three stops. It's a great service.
