AK Breakfast

I found this on the Magical Disney Cruise Guide. Has anybody here done this? When does this happen?

"A new feature that DCL has offered is the chance for guests to go to a character breakfast at the Animal Kingdom on the morning of their departure. Guests get to the Animal Kingdom by regular WDW transportation, enjoy the park and breakfast for the morning. About noon, they board a DCL bus for the Port. We believe that this is only available to guests with the transfer option."

We were WONDERing what to do in the morning we board.
Anyone know about this? Had not heard of it....... thanks......

It's probably the Breakfastasaurus character breakfast that is held at AK. I would assume you'd need a park ticket to get in. On the other hand, if you're at WDW you can do any of the characater breakfasts early in the morning, and if you don't have a day on your park passes left, do one that's in a resort restaurant.

Last January (03) we took DCL transportation from WDW to DCL terminal the morning of our cruise. On our way to port, we picked up a ton of people at AK who took advantage of this offer.

Donald's Breakfastosaurus is a lot of fun! You may want to check out the DIS Restaurant Board to ask questions about this. Many people don't like this character breakfast because they say it is too rushed. We really enjoyed ourselves and didn't feel rushed.

The AK breakfast is intended for the guests who are doing the Land/Sea package.

We usually book a character breakfast for our departure morning...this one is special for the land/sea package, but you can easily book one on your own.

Does anyone know how much extra the breakfast at AK is? We are doing the land/sea and I was thinking about going to AK to catch the DCL bus to port.

What time does the DCL bus pick you up at AK??

I think that I saw on another thread that they pick you up at 11:30 or 12:00.
