AK breakfast on the go?

We are planning on rope dropping AK. We will grab a breakfast bar or something before leaving our hotel room since nothing will be open that early, and I don't want to waste valuable early morning time with breakfast reservations. What are your favorite quick breakfast on the go options at Animal Kingdom? Cinnamon rolls, breakfast burritos, things we can grab at a kiosk and keep going until until we can get a lunch tis a lunch time at the lounge.

Bonus points if it has mobile order so I don't have to stand in a crazy line. I heard Pongu Pongu had a sweet roll that might be good.

Are you staying in a room that has a toaster or a microwave? You could buy breakfast foods to make in your room before you head to the bus (or car if you're driving). That is what my group and I plan to do since like you said, nothing will be open at the hotels and the lines at the Starbucks locations are extremely long. At AK the Starbucks location is called Creature Comforts and early in the morning the line is massive. Some foods I plan on buying/bringing are cereal (like those small travel cup size ones) + milk, poptarts, granola bars, breakfast sandwiches or wraps (the ones that you get in the frozen section of a grocery store), bagel with cream cheese, etc.

If you don't want to bring food from your room I would recommend Kusafiri Bakery. They have a lot of grab and go options and you can also grab a coffee to take with you while on line for the Safari.

No, Just a normal room. Kusafiri sounds awesome. None of us are huge breakfast people in the 1st place, so we definitely don't mind just picking up a Box of cereal bars or something for the early morning. But around 9:30 I'm guessing we are going to need a pick me up. And my husband says he only goes to Disney for the food, so I have to find lots of fun things for him to eat

Kusafiri has a Mickey head cinnamon roll, I think; Tamu Tamu is also listed as having this. Isle of Java, near Flame Tree, has a tiger tail pastry, like the Cheshire Cat tail at MK, and some muffins/danish. Tamu Tamu is listed as having the tiger tail too. Supposedly, Tamu Tamu, Kusafiri, Isle of Java, and Pongu Pongu have a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. Pongu Pongu had french toast sticks and lumpia, a pineapple & cream cheese spring roll. Harambe Fruit Market has fruit and a muffin. There's a Starbucks, Creature Comforts; they have the usual Starbucks breakfast stuff but can have long waits. The Joffreys usually have pastries and donuts. Royal Anandpur Tea, across from Yak & Yeti QS, is one of the Joffrey's locations. They have a froze chai that is fabulous. Kusafiri and Tamu Tamu also have other pastries. Yak & Yeti Local Foods QS has a full breakfast menu starting at 9am.
