AK at night, boneyard and safari question

Our kids love the Boneyard, but its often too hot during the day. Does anyone know if it is open at night, and is it light enough for kids to play after dark?

Also, we have heard negative reviews of the safari's after dark. Is that still the case, or has anyone did it recently and its improved? Just trying to plan, as we will be there in August.

The Boneyard currently closes with the Park(11:00 PM) and has adequate lighting.

As for the Nigth Safari,there are many Guests who don't like it,but really the only way to know if you will like it is to try it once.
