AK at christmas?

With all the construction and the parade gone, will they be doing anything christmasy this year? With a group of kids that are either too scared or too short (3 infants under 1) to do much of anything in the park with little interest in animals (and we are staying at all with a Savannah view so we do get a little animal viewing), I am wondering if it is best to just skip it this year.
