AK-safari was awesome as always. Saw a tiger so up close it was almost scary on the Maharajah jungle trek. New baby monkey at the ruins, so very cute. Tusker House great for a quick breakfast. Did Kali and loved it. Now you HAVE to keep your shoes on, but they didn't get very wet. The new Everest ride looks so cool. You can see the tracks that it is going to go on, and boy does it look scary. No more than 15 minute waits anywhere.

Epcot-Did extended evening hours and it was great. Rode Test Track 6 times that day. Got on everything most of the day with little to no wait. No wait in the evening. The Land is closed totally. Living Seas-the new Turtle Talk with Crush is a must see. Best thing we saw this time. Didn't see Illuminations because we really wanted to see The American Adventure and they were both at 9pm. It stunk having to make a chose. There were 30 people in the theater that is built for 1000. Needless to say we didn't have to go all the way down the row to make room for everyone!
Blizzard Beach was awesome and we are in our mid 40's.
Any questions-fire away. We were there from 1/9/05-1/15/05.

Wow! I asked you the question about crowds in your other post, but you answered it here! I think you have totally made up my mind to go at this time..now all I have to do is postpone it for 2 months :charac2: But sounds like it is worth the trade off.
Oh I just remembered, what hotel did you stay at? and were restaurants and things like that just as slow?

We stayed at OKW and we made no PS before we left home. Did it all the day of or just walked up. To be fair we did no character meals or we would have made PS because we know those are very popular. The best meal we had was breakfast at Spoodles on the Boardwalk. No PS we just walked in. We were very impressed, never having eaten there before. Ate at Kona, OK but not really what I had expected on my first time. They did look like they were having alot of fun next door at OHana, which is a character meal. My DH was very excited because the night we ate at the ESPN club they were taping a live show and he got on camera to ask a question. It was very exciting! :earseek:

OOohh, that whole "No crowds" thing sounds promising. We're trying Spoodles for breakfast for the first time on our last morning. I hope Dad can get plain ol' sausage or bacon and eggs there; I'll be more adventurous.

I'm sure your Dad will love it. They had a meal that was all you can eat that had a pastry/muffin basket, eggs your way, bacon, sausage, homefries and french toast, along with juice or coffee for 11.99. The great part about it is they bring you the first plate full of the above, and then they ask you if you want anymore of any or all of it. This way everything is hot and cooked to order, and boy was it good!!!! Have a great time :flower1:

and I know there was not a smiggen of an inch of dry area on my DH's body or anything else.....totally wet......so we always put our shoes in the middle thingie..........sounds like you did alot and had a good time too.......thanks for the report

They have big signs now that say that shoes must be worn at all times on this ride. We used to put ours in the middle also. Nothing worse then wet sneakers. Fortunately neither of us have the monsoon side of the boat. Our fellow passengers that sat directly across from us were absolutely soaked!! :umbrella:
