Airtrans part of Magical Express?

Hey folks,

I know this is probably in a FAQ somewhere, but does AirTrans participate in Magical Express? I know they don't have airline desks at the hotels, but can I at least get my bags to the hotel via ME?

Need to know ASAP to get a web airfare deal!!! THANKS!!!

If you're asking if you can use ME to get from MCO to your resort, the answer is yes! As far as it being a participating airline, I understand that there's currently a pilot program with AirTran, but I don't know the particulars. You could scroll through as I remember seeing threads about it.

Don't confuse participating airline and ME if that is what is helping you make your flight decisions.

You can have your luggage delivered to a WDW Resort from any airline when you arrive. They use the special ME tags to process the luggage behind the scenes. However, only certain airlines allow you to check your luggage for your flight home at your resort rather than the airport. That's not a big deal, in my opinion. I would go with the great airfare even if you need to check your luggage at the airport.

robinb is correct. We actually use AirTran all the time, and we use ME all the time. WDW will get your luggage to your room using ME, but on your return trip you have to bring your luggage with you as AirTran is not a participating airline for check in at resort.
