What is everyones opinion on airtran? How is the seating done? TYIA

Seating is done when you check in for the flight. You can check in 24 hours before the flight. I did mine this morning right at the 24 hour window. When I go to leave I check in but don't print the boarding pass since I won't have a printer.

I have flown AirTran quite a few times and will be flying them tomorrow. Never had a problem with them.

We checked in at the airport to get our seating assignments. On the way down, we got to the airport at 6:45AM for an 11:50AM flight, and got really good seats. On the way back, we checked in at 7:00AM for a 9:00AM flight and did get seats together, but they were in the back of the plane. No problems at all with checking-in at the airport on the day of the flight.
