Airtran was better than I expected

I have to say I was a little worried about Airtran, with all of the threads about it being ValueJet. But we flew on Aug 19 and then on the 26th and was pleasently suprised.

We were early on the 19th landing and late by about 30 minutes on the 26th due to alot of Philly air traffic.

Just wanted to put in my 2cents.

We also were pleasantly surprised with Airtran on our June flights (first time flying them). They offer very competitive rates out of Philly, and we will not hesitate to use them again. In fact, our return flight for our December trip is on Airtran because we got such a great rate at the time we wanted.

Did they have XM Radio on board?
How was it? The whole list or just a few more of the popular channels?

They do have XM, but you need your own headphones. I am sorry we did not have them so I do not know if they have a complete list.

On our June trip, our plane did not have XM radio either way. We had taken headphones with, but there was no radio. There was also no video screens, so the safety demonstration was done by the flight attendants.
