AirTran - Online Check in question

I know I can check in online 24 hours prior to departure. We have to connect/change planes in Atlanta.

Anyone know if I'll be able to check in for both letgs of the trip 24 hours before the first leg departs? Can I even check in online all the way through? Do I have to wait for 24 hours before the second leg departs?

Thanks for any experiences you can share!

If my memory serves me correctly, Yes you can check in for both the initial and connecting flight 24 hours from when the intial flight is scheduled to leave.

Sure you can check in for both segments.

You have it correct. When you check in for the first segment, you will get your boarding passes for the entire trip to MCO. When you get to Atlanta, simply proceed to the next gate and board when called. When at Disneyworld, you can have your hotel concierge (if onsite) print your boarding passes for your return trip... simple.

I really liked ATL when I went through there last May. I had almost 3 hours to kill, so I took the train to the main building and met a buddy who's wife was transferred from MN to Atlanta for work. It was nice to see an old friend. We met at Houlihan's in the main terminal for lunch. We chatted a while and then I went back through security and made it to my next gate with tons of time to spare. The train is really efficient and ATL is kind of neat, all be it a very large airport.

Thanks, Duds - We're changing in Atlanta tomorrow and only have about 45 minutes between flights. Good to know the airport is set up so conveniently. Hope at least the first leg is on time. Weather looks good, so we should be OK.
