Airtran Boarding ?

We have never flown with Airtran. I know I can print the boarding passes ahead of time. Do I have to get in the ticket line if I have checked luggage?

Yes, unfortunately you still have to wait in line at the ticket counter if you have luggage to check. But it is nice to get your seat assignments ahead of time. That way you can be sure you are all sitting together.

Do they have skycaps? If so, you can check your bags with the skycap.

There are no skycaps available in Rochester or Orlando - not sure about other airports. I love that service and miss it but Airtran's prices are so great I just do without these days. Today only they are having a sale that runs through Oct.8th and I can get a fare of 110.00pp including all fees on a non-stop flight. Unbelievable! I'm gonna end up down there once a month at this rate!
