Do all Airtran flights leave from Concourse C? I am looking at a flight throught Atlanta with a short connection, and I wondered if it was possible I may have to change concourses.

Almost all of the AirTran flights at ATL will arrive/depart from the same concourse. Even if you have to change it would only be one concourse away and its really easy to get there.

To the OP, how "short" of a connection do you have?

The connection is 45 minutes, but it's the last flight of the day. I don't want to get stuck in Atlanta for the night.

OK, 45 minutes is fine on AirTran assuming no flight problems. However, that might be too big an assumption. Especially when its the last flight of the day.

I've been through Atlanta many times and changed concourses quickly. You just go to the center of the concourse, follow the signs for the correct escalator, either walk to take the train to the next concourse and back up. I know alot of people hate Atlanta but I think it's one of the more efficient connecting airports, everything is in a straight line.

If you still can choose a seat near the front of the aircraft on your first flight. Even if you have to pay a bit more. You don't want to be stuck behind a bunch of people who move like turtles disembarking.

Also, once you are out of the aircraft, do not stop for anything until you are at the next gate. No food, no bathroom, nothing. Your job is to make your connecting flight. Anything else can wait.

I have to say I have done a short connection (47 minutes) thought Atlanta, and it was very tight. Even with our first flight landing early it was tight. I guess if the worst happens you can always rent a car and drive the rest of the way to WDW.:drive:
