Airtran Airways-changing intineraries??

We have a flight w/ Airtan Airways from IND to MCO on the 29th of Dec. We want to go back on the 30th (a certain band called Sevendust in performaning at the House of Blues on the 29th)
My question is, has anyone ever done an intinerary change w/ Airtran? Were there any complications? How did you go about doing it? Did you do it online, phone, in person, etc.
Please share any information for me about doing this!

I did a cancellation online. There was a $50 change/cancellation fee and I think that if you change itineraries you may have to pay any difference in the flight prices. There may not be fees for exchanging refundable tickets, but they're expensive.
