Has anyone ever flown with them and how was it?

We have our flight set to fly out of dayton ohio. We've never flown with them before.

Do they ususlly run on schedule?

Thanks in advance for answers.

HI,
I have flown with Air Tran many times and have always had a good flight from Moline, IL to Orlando via Atlanta.

We like Air Tran. No complaints here! I particularly like the fact that it's all jet service. No puddle jumpers!!

Well, I have flown with them several times. One trip to Orlando they misplaced my luggage and I didn't get it until the next afternoon. Lesson #1: Always CARRY an emergency bag for just such a mishap. Luckily, I was there to visit my sister and we were able to pick up a few necessities at Wal-Mart. Second mishap was the Aug. 2001 Disney trip I planned for our family. We had had a very rough year and even though it's not that far a drive from Ga. decided I wanted a totally relaxing trip. (I get very antsy on road trips.) DH kept saying we should drive. Well, we get to the airport and our flight is cancelled (who knows why, mechanical problems, whatever)
Spent 9 hrs at the airport and finally arrived at Disney around midnight. We did get 3 free airline tickets out of the deal, after MUCH discussion but, needless to say I keep hearing how we could have driven faster than we got there. Lesson #2: If it's less than a 8 hr drive might as well buckle up.
However, I have flown AirTran without mishap on other occasions and would still fly with them.

Just flew with them in November...no complaints here. We were a little delayed, taking off from Philly, but made up the time in the air. I would use them again...especially if I can get a nice fare like before! :D

I flew AirTran out of Pittsburgh last month and had no problems. They're much more flexible than USAirways and cheaper also.

We also flew airtran out of Dayton. The first time it was great. The second time we had a 2 hour delay. After we got onto the plane everything was great. The delay was due to storms in Orlando. At that time the plane coming from Orlando would be the same one we would go back to orlando on.They don't have extra planes at the airport

Flew from Rochester to Orlando in December. Perfect trip with no problems at all.
