I can't find any recent info on this..
Does anyone who has flown recently know if we can take teething rings on the plane?

Yes, no problem, from the TSA website:
"You are allowed to bring gel or liquid-filled teethers, canned, jarred, or processed baby food in your carry-on baggage and aboard your plane."

You can find all the info you need on clearning security and traveling with babies/children here on the TSA website:
http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/children/formula.shtm

I recommend visiting that website to keep up to date prior to airline travel.

thanks so much! I went to the tsa website this mornng but must have mused that section

Just as a sidebar - we witnessed a mom at MCO airport having to explain to an agent that "yes, I am indeed allowed to bring the teether". Out she whips the details from the website...

As many have mentioned before - not every employee may know the exact rules... and sometimes a little friendly explaining (or heck, documentation!) goes a long way :thumbsup2

I just printed it out. Good idea.
The last thing I need travelling at uch a busy time is more of a hassle than this already is.

I'm happy to report that I had no trouble at all with the teethers. I put them in the little baggie just in case but no one said anything.
