Airport Transfer Question

We are flying Air France from Barcelona on a Wednesday and scheduled to arrive at CDG at 6:55 pm. I was hoping to get the Disney transfer from CDG to the Hotel New York. The online timetable shows that the last bus is at the different stops from 7:45 to 8:05 on Wednesdays. Is it reasonable/possible for my family (including DD9 and DS7) to deplane, collect the bags, and get on the shuttle bus in time? If it is not probable/possible, what would you DLP experts suggest I do? Keep in mind that this will be after an 11 Disney Magic Med cruise and the 4 of us will be suffering the post-cruise depression. Thanks.

Have you considered a taxi transfer? It might not be much more expensive than the bus and would give you peace of mind. My family and I are using BS Transport for our transfer next week and for a family of 5 it costs exactly the same as the shuttle bus would!

Being an EU citizen I don't know if you would clear customs at CDG, but I suspect that you would, and assume that you would be in the non-EU line.

Having seen the non-EU lines at CDG recently, I would be concerned about how long that would take.

Luggage usually takes about 20-35 minutes to dispense at CDG.

The most important questions are

• at which terminal do you land
• do you clear customs in CDG

I would consider a back up plan such as a car service, or train service if there is a train that runs later. Not quite sure what impact 'post cruise depression' will have on your travels but I am assuming that there is no severe jet lag etc involved, so if you are feeling up to it transferring to T2 and taking the TGV is an option, if you are comfortable with European train travel.

If not, I would recommend a car service and/or taxi.
