Airport parking in Rochester!

Hi just want to know if anyone has any info on the best parking for Rochester airport. We fly Feb 5th to 13th. We don't need a park/sleep/fly this time, as we are staying on the Canadian side the night before (our flight doesn't leave til 4) and coming home, we plan to do the same, come back as far as the Cdn side. With the dollar being down so much! Is parking at the airport any good at all, or should I be looking for offsite?

We preferred to stay at a hotel near the airport and leave our car there. Although I did see that you can leave your car in the lot at the airport for $50/week. Might be worth it.

The only reason we are staying on the Cdn side, is it is already going to be a 7 to 8 hour car trip. Thought we would stop there and take a break, and go the other bit in the morning. Do you know if any of the motels allow you to park there and just pay for parking? We were curious. Thanks

Last August we drove from Ottawa to Rochester, then flew to Orlando. We parked our car in one of the long-term parking lots at the airport, and were pleased with their service. They had a shuttle take us from the lot to the terminal, then back again to the lot when we arrived from Orlando at the end of our trip. The shuttle runs often and the price was great - I think it was around $56 for 8 days.

Incidentally, we rode in the shuttle to the airport with another Canadian family, and then kept seeing them in the parks throughout the week! Talk about a small world! They actually ended up being on our flight both ways, which was a hoot!
