Airport Hotel with Parking at Gatwick?

I'm looking for advice from anyone who's done this before, as we're planning to stay the night before we fly in September, and have car parking included for the 10 nights we're away.

The Gatwick Worth seems cheapest, however it concerns me that the transfers to the airport aren't guaranteed, therefore you may pay more than you would for another hotel in taxi fares.

The Courtyard by Marriott - can you actually walk to the North Terminal? We're flying from the South, but I believe there's a monorail which will take us between terminals.

The Hilton seems the best bet as it's on site at the correct terminal, however I don't know if our budget will stretch to this. I've heard you can use Tesco Deals vouchers towards this, but I don't know how many we'll mangage to build up, and I can't see whether the parking packages can be included when using these vouchers.
A couple of searches are showing me up a meet and greet option for the Hilton, where a company (Maple Manor I think) bring your car to the airport for you when you arrive back, and this is actually coming up cheaper than the non-meet and greet option for some bizarre reason.

Any advice or recommendations on hotels in the area would be much appreciated :thumbsup2 - we're trying not to spend a fortune if possible!

Ours is for Heathrow but check this site for prices, far cheaper than anyone else for me.
I used it to book Meet and Greet for Easter http://www.parkandgo.co.uk/

Booked Premier Inn Hayes seperate (£29 less cashback)

Total after cashback £75 for hotel and 13 days Meet & Greet

They also do hotel & parking packages

We are booking the Hilton using Clubcard deals this time but you can't book parking with it.

A double room is costing us £35 in clubcard deals plus a couple of quid :thumbsup2

Booked parking seperate using the car park next door but that is more expensive but car stays onsite the whole time - there are plenty of options for just parking.

I've stayed here:

Although I think its changed hands since I stayed there.
How long does the transfer take to the airport, can you remember?

The prices I'm getting for this are the same as most sites I've been looking at, but I presume this is the best for cashback with Quidco?

Ah, see we really need the parking, I don't think it'll be worth paying for the hotel and parking seperately, you can probably get the package for not much more I think...

Thanks all for your help and advice, I might just stick with the cheapy Gatwick Worth and hope the transfers work out...

We usually stay at the Holiday Inn Gatwick
I don't know your exact date, but tried 24th Sep by guessing from your ticker, for 2 adults 2 kids (my random guess) it's showing £48 for a room 1 dbl + 2 single, or £89 for the same with park, stay & go, so an extra £41 for 15 nights' parking.
The hotel doesn't look particularly exciting from the outside but it's quite nice inside. Kids eat free either from the bar menu or in the restaurant too (with paying adults).
There's a regular shuttle - you do have to pay for it, but it's very reliable.

Thanks for the info, it's coming out at £99 for the 23rd, which is when we'd be staying. And I could get 10% cashback on that through Quidco.
The Gatwick Worth is £75, which seems to be the cheapest, with 8% cashback. Hmmm...

How long is the shuttle journey from the Holiday Inn and can you remember how much it costs?

The shuttle journey is very short, but depends on whether they're picking up at other hotels, and which terminal. I think it costs £3pp each way. You can buy the tickets at the hotel. When we got the shuttle from the HI to the airport, it didn't stop anywhere else, can't remember terminal order, then on the return, it stopped at 1 or 2 hotels before the HI.

Do you know if the shuttle runs 24 hours?
And do you have to reserve a time or does it run every so many minutes?
Sorry for all the questions, I'm struggling to find the info on their website!

We always stay at Acorn Lodge - have used it three or four times now. Its a B&B so you get breakfast, overnight stay, parking and transfers. The good thing is they use a private car / mini bus for transfers, so youre not stuck waiting for a bus to come round on a loop, you just pick the time you want and there they are! http://www.acornlodgegatwick.co.uk/

I couldn't find exact details either, but I think it's the H1 bus, and it runs every 15 minutes, from something like 5am - midnight, then there is a less frequent/different service during the rest of the night. I'd give the hotel a call and ask them. I remember getting back to LGW at 1am and having a bit of a wait, but fairly sure it's 15mins at other times.

Wayne where are you staying at Heathrow? Never flown out of there before, so I need some recommendations for this year!:goodvibes

You had to get a taxi when I stayed at Little Foxes which was £10 and took about 10 minutes.

Staying at a Premier inn, stayed in a few and found them OK for a odd night although never stayed at this one, http://www.premierinn.com/en/book.action and search Hayes, Heathrow Its about 3 miles from the airport. £29 less £1.45 cashback
My Brother lives about 10 miles from there so going for a meal with him then the hotel is just somewhere to get a bit of sleep before flight.
Booked Meet and Greet separate with company in my 1st post £51 less cashback.
