Hiya Folks,

Just read somewhere we are able to request our seats for our flight ahead of the normal time. This being from the 26th June.

We are flying from Manchester with Virgin, tried logging onto the Virgin Atlantic site with my ref from Disney but it doesnt work. Is this something different I have to ask for from Disney?

Many thanks

Andy :confused3

Yes, you will need to call Disney and ask for your VA reference to be able to log in to book seats :thumbsup2

Hiya

How do you book your seats ahead of normal time? I think mine is 60 days out but please let me know if I'm missing something and I can book sooner :)

Are you also flying Virgin Fortlebap? They are in the process of revamping their seat booking system and i think have hit snags. I keep getting different responces from them since January.
Latest is for early September flight i should be able to book from 1st July.

If your on another airline that will vary. BA let you book seats well in advance though you have to pay with them. United can also book well ahead and free of charge.

I believe with Virgin, from the 26th June you can Pay to book your seats as soon as you get your flight. but i believe if you booked before december you dont have to pay

Hiya yes I'm flying VA from Man, PE on 9 September.

Booked in October last year :)

So does that mean I can book seats on the 26th and not 60 days out? :)

I believe so yes, and if Ive read it right we shouldnt have to pay the £25 per seat booking fee as we both booked before December. But I will wait and see.

VA were very good at honoring bookings prior to the luggage allowance change in 2009. We booked before the change and there was no issue at all. I printed out the confirmation from the MMB page just in case, but it all went without a hitch when we checked our extra bags on the return. I'm sure if there was an issue there would be posts about it on the internet by now :)

Haha yes I'm.very excited about China,it's just a mum and daughter trip.
Something on her bucket list she has wanted to do it for years,so I'm.taking her for 10 days :)

How is your Mom doing? She was having a hard time with her health a while ago. Is she feeling a bit better now? Sorry I don't remember the details.

It never ceases to amaze me how difficult VA make just selecting a seat :confused3

Not sure BA is much better .... just been onto their website to see (for the umpteenth time) if I can attempt to pre pay one extra bag for the return route. It has 0 selected by default to begin with, but it has a total already at the bottom for $400 .... that's before I even add anything

right! So I thought I had this sussed now I have checked again and I'm confused again. :confused3

I am flying out on 18th august which means I can preassign my seats on 19th June (for free as the date they start charging is going to be 25th June). But it only shows one direction.... does that mean I can only book my seats one way? and that I will be charged to bookn them on the way back?

I have paid for extra legroom seats so th choice for me DH, DS and DD will be limited anyway.

Help!!

:(
