Just wondering if anyone knows if make up remover wipes have to go into the little ziploc baggie or not with the carry on. They're the premoistened make up remover wipes. I'm going to Dominican Republic on Thursday :cool1: and I don't want to check bags.

Also, do the toiletries in the bag have to be in the original containers? I have these reusable 3 ounce bottles, and I just filled them with shampoo and sunblock. And one more question, if I take the Intuition razor blades, the ones that have the soap built onto the blade cartridge, does that count as a liquid? I assume not since it's a solid soap type material, but I'm not sure.

No, they don't have to be in the original containers, but you can't use all but "about 3 oz" out of a big bottle

I was told my wet wipes needed to be in my baggie.

Not sure about the razor. I would think it is OK, but:confused3 If you do try to take it, I would leave it in the package.

Have a wonderful trip!!

I don't think the razors with the strips count.
some airports are more strict than others  I have been to some that don't check the baggie at all.
I carried my Clorox wippees with me....NOT in the ziplock
I would be prepared for it to all need to be in there or risk losing it.

You should be fine with the wipes and the bottled shampoo and sunblock. But you can't take a razor blade through security on your carry on.

Here's the link to the TSA site with the list of prohibited items: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm#4

I always thought that meant--Straight razor blades--not the disposable kind.:confused3 I'm almost positive I've brought a razor. In fact the TSA link you provided says

Razor-Type Blades - such as box cutters, utility knives, razor blades not in a cartridge, but excluding safety razors.

A razor blade for a razor like OP is talking about is in a cartridge, so it would be ok.

Safety razors such as the one the OP mentioned are allowed in carry on luggage.

Opps, sorry, I was reading it wrong, thanks for pointing that out. I always have my husband bring my toiletries through security so I don't have to deal with the TSA harassing me since he travels in uniform and can bring whatever he wants through security.

I've never been stopped for wet wipes not in a baggie. I always carry a razor. As long as the bottles are less than the approved size, they do not need labels.
