Airmiles Question

Since there seems to be so many Airmiles experts in this forum, I figured I’d might as well ask my question here.

I’ve been collecting on and off for many years, but have never redeemed my miles.

Thought it might be time to do so, on the understanding that car rentals were something that I could use my miles for - but apparently they no longer offer this as a reward? Or are they, and I’m just doing something wrong?

They are currently not offering rental cars because of the huge rental car shortage.

It might also be dependant on location. We were able last week to book a van from Disney to Port canaveral but they only had cars for the return

You might be able to call and book something, but the online option isn't available for sure.
