Has anyone used airmiles to order hoppers?
Are they e-tickets? If not how long did they take to come by mail?

I've gotten them twice. They are actual tickets and they come by themselves in a plain white envelope, no enclosure or anything. Usually takes a couple of weeks, depending on our wonderful postal system.

I contacted AM last week to enquire about the 2013 ones and apparently they won't be available until late November or early December.

I got 2 a couple of months ago and it was a signature required envelope and I wasn't home so had to pick it up at the post office. They took a couple of weeks to arrive from when I ordered them.
However, I find it cheesy that Airmiles increased the amount of miles needed for the parkhoppers but they are still the old ones expiring Dec 2012.

We got ours beginning of August. They took about 7 days total to get to us after we placed the order.

We did not have to provide a signature like a previous poster. They just left them at the door (our mail normally goes to the community mailboxes).

Our tickets arrived in less than a week in our regular mailbox. They were the standard, printed, decorative tickets (and not the printouts like when you order online through an agent).

Does anyone knowi if these tickets, purchased with airmiles, can be upgraded to an AP. If so what is the face value on them?

I also think it's cheesy that it costs more points than ever to purchase the tickets, but now you can only purchase the 5 day Park Hopper, and no longer the 7 day Park Hopper. :faint:

Yes, they can. We just upgraded ours on Friday. The tickets have a value on them. We just had the 3 day hoppers. I believe the kids ones were a $198 value and the adult $216.

Thank you SOOOO much! Do you know what the face value of the 5 day hoppers is and how many miles it costs? This could be a HUGE savings on APs as I have plenty of air miles floating around!

Ignore the above. I just went to the site and realized it's for Canada residents. You Canadians have all the luck!!!!
