If you order for grocery pickup it doesn't count. You can have your items shipped to a store instead of being delivered to your house. but make sure it isn't shown as a Grocery pickup.
I may try a Walmart shop but I am still waiting on miles from the summer to post. I will have to check the time frame and see when I can request my missing miles. I know 1 of them was the bonus offer I think it was 30x's in August so I will probably have to wait on that one.

I really can't believe that they are allowing all categories at Amazon. Won't it be a nightmare for them? It is much better for me since I can never figure out if my item matches the category so I usually just don't both ordering via the AirMiles ****e.

Walmart... naw I have had too many issues with their delivery and it posting to Airmiles.
So maybe 100 Airmiles for me.

I had posted some time ago asking if anyone had experience renting a car using Air Miles.

I wanted to share our experience.

We booked just after they added National Car back as an option. At the same time, the rules were changing and their website was in flux and being updated -- which meant some conflicting information.

We booked for a one day minivan rental at our home airport for the night before departing on our trip to Vancouver to catch our DCL Alaska cruise.

Cash prices direct with National were crazy high, and I have Dream Miles to burn, so it was worth it.

The AM price dropped, so I rebooked. This is where we ran into an issue. The info on the AM website suggest you could cancel via the website for no fee == this was actually not true. I booked the new rate and then tried to cancel the old and found out I couldn't cancel online. I called, explained the situation, and they said because they are in a transition person there are some issues. They explained you can only cancel by phoning and there is a fee (it is either $25 or $50, the info is on the website and NOW is clear, but was not there at the time), however because they were in a transition period they were waiving the fee.

Our airport is small, so when picking up I had to go to the counter. Provided my name, they pulled up the reservation info, I made sure they had my Emerald Club info, the confirmed my DL and CC.

I choose to buy the rental agency insurance because my CC insurance won't cover rentals not paid for with the CC.

In the end we paid more than a taxi would have been, but we had more flexibility in terms of when we departed for the airport, and much more ease of carrying the luggage (a larger vehicle is needed and not always available when calling a taxi).

I still have a bunch of AM left to use, so we will likely do this again for future trips, unless I find another way to use them.

For our stay in Vancouver, we rented a car for 3 days but I paid cash with National as the AM rate was crazy in comparison the the direct National rate.

Just placed another Amazon order to get the 100 Bonus miles, I wasn't looking at price so much as the fact that any category was included. I just picked up a new $500 mouth guard to deal with my ongoing teeth grinding that started during the early days of Covid and has just gotten worse (my personal life is a poop storm and the world is in such turmoil) and I cracked my old one. I decided I needed to buy a cleaner to protect this one from our hard water but it's never in an included category, cost me over $75 but I still had $20-ish in gift cards, tossed in some batteries for our Tile trackers since one is dying and we'll need those in <gulp> 38 days, also not included at the moment. Happy with this offer and loving the honeymoon phase with BMO's take over!!!

Thank you! I did this yesterday before posting but it wasn't there. I just figured I didn't get the offer however, seeing you post this, I thought I would go back and take a second look and Voila, there it is.

Walmart and Amazon have been horrible for me this summer, missing 5 from Walmart and 2 from Amazon and I know it wasn't user error. Surprisingly, this posted today from Walmart from a shop on Sunday, under 48 hours, so hopefully they resolved the issue (I was shocked to see it) :

I had saved this offer in the app, but of COURSE they are clearing them out as they expire AND I never took screen shots. However, something in my memory was that the order was cumulative, so as long as you spent $100 total at AMshops, you qualified. I hope someone else remembers, or even better saved the T&C to be sure, but I believe you will.

Woo hoo! I needed 5025 and now have 5026 for my one day HS tickets in December. So - purchasing! Lets hope it goes ok and I can link them properly to my account. I will decide to add park hopper once we get there depending on everything else. Still waiting on many airmiles to post so hopefully it'll only be at 1 AM for a short time lol.
