For all those who did the Shell offer. I'm thinking they must have changed up the way they award the AM on the 1AM/L offer. It'll be a nice little kick off to the new year.

Happy New Year everyone! LOL...I managed to make it past midnight for the first time in a few years.

I feel like a total AM light weight for this past year. I only earned 7512 miles but redeemed 12870. I suppose if you factor in the 4500 miles that I'm still owed it wasn't horrible but I miss the days of 18K/year. DD's account was 1855 earned and 2357 redeemed. I think for me losing Amex is going to be the biggest hit for this year. I've been trying to use my MC for everything but the miles for $ spent is not as good. Let's hope for the best. Also... many, many big and easy to do promos!

did anyone else not get the proper miles at Shell yesterday? I know i opted in, both in the airmiles app and the Shell one but in only got the regular amount

I bought some frozen m & m single servings and pre-authorized the fuel at the same time. I think we've managed to cover every possible method of completing a transaction at Shell within our small group and all of us had the same end result- waiting for our first miles from 2025 to post!

How does a person upgrade their disney ticket when bought from airmiles?
We are looking at going to disneyland in Feb and there are 1 park per day tickets and park hopper tickets, but nothing with lightning lane.

You will be able to upgrade your tickets at the gate once your arrive. That is if you want to upgrade from regular I park per day to hoppers or AP. Lightening lane is added onto whatever tickets you have in the app. So you will need to add your tickets to the app and then you can purchase lightening lanes for whatever day you want them.

For those concerned about the bonus 1AM/Litre of gas not posting at Shell. I just reread the T/C (page 1961) and it says to allow 2 weeks for the bonus to post to your account. So now I get to be patient...

no offer here. However I'm not upset because we rarely fill up more than once a month, most would be 2 if we really push it, and never had an offer during 2024 that was for less than 3 fill-up so we didn't ever use them

Shell has lowered my monthly earning from 3 fills / 50 miles, 4 fills / 100 miles to 3 / 40 and 4 / 80.

DH cannot use Shell for his work van, so he hits up Irving for us, but I am lucky if I do three 30L in a month. I would rather save the $50 then earn an extra 40 miles.

I didn't get an email with a shell offer but it's in the Shell app, fill up 3 times for 40 am and a 4th for 40 more. I fill up once a month, so it's not happening any way.

I really wish I had a trip in planning. Winter hasn't been too unbearable yet, but I miss Disney.
