Airlines included in Magical Express?

Does anyone know which airlines are or are not included in the Magical Express service for your luggage? I've been trying to find it out on Disney's website, but no luck.

I don't believe Southwest was on it. Midwest Express just started going direct to Orlando from our area (Kansas City) and we were wondering if anyone knows if this will be included in the airlines offered.

Any info you can give me would be appreciated.

The only part of DME for which your airline matters is on your RETURN trip, your trip back home.

On your way to WDW, DME includes a bus ride as well as luggage handling REGARDLESS OF AIRLINE. If you fly into MCO and are staying at a WDW resort, you can have your checked luggage "magically appear" in your resort room. Again, EVERY airline. Period.

For your return home, flying certain "participating airlines" means that in addition to a free bus ride back to MCO you can check in your luggage at your resort and also get your airline boarding passes. If you're using a "non-participating" airline, you still get the free bus ride back to MCO but you have to get your luggage to the bus yourself, and then take it again after it's unloaded from the bus. I may have outdated info, but as far as I know the "participating airlines" are American, Delta (including Song), Continental, and United (including Ted).

American Airlines

Delta Air Lines
Song
United Airlines
Ted

You may to ask DME if this list has been updated.

These are the only airlines that will allow you to check in at your resort for your return trip. This means you will be issued your boarding pass and your luggage will be tagged for your home airport. You will not have to deal with your luggage until you reach your home airport.

If your airline is not one of the above it means you will take your luggage to the bus, it is loaded beneath the bus. When you get to MCO the luggage will be placed on the ground and you will then take it and you to your airlines ticket counter or do curbside check in.

Anyone know if Midwest has been added???

TIA!
Sue

Midwest has NOT been added, and I wouldn't expect it to be any time soon. As CleveRocks has stated, this ONLY means you can't check your luggage through on your flight home. You will have to bring it to the bus with you where the driver will store it under the bus; then she or he will unload your luggage at the airport and you will be responsible for checking it in - either at the counter, or with a SkyCap, or at a self-check kiosk.
ALL airlines "participate" in all Magical Express services on your way TO Walt Disney World.

NW was on the list, then off the list, and the word is they may be back on soon.

If it's not a participating airline, Disney still gets your luggage on the inbound flight, correct?
