I was wondering, after reading so many posts about who to use, which is the best company around for flights etc to Orlando? We have used TCD twice and have booked with Virgin for November this year. To be honest, for customer service I have found TCD miles better. Virgin have yet to send me a new invoice saying I have paid for my holidays. TCD planes are okay although not brilliant. Price wise, TCD were slightly cheaper but Virgin accept Tesco vouchers and so came out ahead. As to Virgin planes I have never flown with them so cannot comment. On my return in December I will continue this thread and psot my comments. Anyone want to share their thoughts?:thumbsup2

Martin - We run our own small business so have to use scheduled airlines as arranging cover is generally mid-week to mid-week. As a result of this we have used many different airlines - Icelandair, Delta, North West, BA, Virgin, Continental and have been happy with all of them.

Our last visit was on Virgin via Manchester. Booked seats well in advance so got a really good price. Plane and service were very good. Only downside was trying to book seats online. As we had booked our tickets via an agent, it showed all 4 of us as adults but when we came to book seats for 3 adults and one child, the computer didn't like it :sad2: That said, we were all together on the outward trip. :cool1:

Going again in January and this time its BA via Gatwick. Pricewise the most expensive, but as I had a credit voucher for them, it brought the overall cost down to other levels.

We used our Tesco vouchers with Virgin holidays.:thumbsup2 We plan on going back next year but will shop around. If we can use our Tesco vouchers then we will consider the airline that accepts them with the best price.:dance3:

Can you use Tesco vouchers to pay off something you have booked with Virgin Holidays via a travel agents do you think?

Would make me start shopping at Tesco before our balance is due if thats the case :goodvibes

Before booking the holiday I did shop around. Travel agents do not accept these vouchers, you have to book direct with Virgin. Even with a slight price increase with Virgin if you have enough vouchers it does appear worth doing. However, when you book that is when you have to use your vouchers. We put everything on the Tesco credit card. If I go shopping for my parents I use my card and get points. Like other credit cards the secret is not to buy more than you need.:thumbsup2 :dance3:

You have to have the vouchers before you book. We are saving for our 2009 hols! The plan is to book Nov 2008 just after the Tesco clubcard statement comes out. You have to pay full price ( no discounts allowed!) and get the clubcard deal vouchers to Virgin holidays within 3 days of booking!

Are you able to use Tesco vouchers with Virgin Atlantic???

Tesco vouchers can only be used at Virgin holidays. Holiday must be over £500 ( easy!) and does not include flydrives
I was thinking about using them but only want flights. I think I will use them for airmiles
