Airline to the UK

Looking for help.

We live near Orlando and are big Disney fans. We go all the time. But next summer we are considering going to the UK for a short visit. We have never been to the UK and have been wanting to visit for some time now. We are tired of seeing all the touists over here and want to be a tourist ourselves.

What air line would you recommend and is there a way to find a good air line price between Orlando and London/UK?

Hi over there Currycook

The two main scheduled airlines who fly direct to Orlando/UK are Virgin Atlantic www.virginatlantic.com and British Airways www.ba.com .

The main US airlines all fly to the UK, but most are not non-stop and you have to change, but these tend to by cheaper.

I'd have a look at www.expedia.com, that will give you an idea of how much. I know the prices vary quite steeply depending on what time of the year, age of traveller etc. There are a number of other agents around and I'm sure someone else will post who they are cos I'm afraid my mind's gone blank now!

We want to go to London or Scotland. My wife is of Scotish heritage. Her family owns land in South Carolina that goes back to when South Carolina was a colony and the original land grant for her family is in a musem signed by whoever was King back then.

I started looking now but I think its too early. We will look again early next year.

MY DG lives in the US ( Pittsburgh PA) , we consistantly find that it's more expensive to fly from the US to the UK than the other way round. My DG uses http://www.sidestep.com for checking flight prices, they seem pretty good
