Airline Prices for June

Has anyone found cheap prices for June? We are looking for roundtrip from Oklahoma to Orlando.. so far cheapest(!) is $ 300. Not too cheap! Is it still too far out? When do you think we will see better prices.. I mean how close to the trip. We are traveling on a Tuesday and Thursday. Hopefully this will not be too crowded. What is everyone else finding? I am also watching. Hopefully when Southwest opens up their schedule the others prices will come down . If not we'll be drivin'!

I would keep an eye on the Transportation board, someone usually posts there about fare sales. Also sign up at the different airlines websites to recieve emails about fare sales

Also, remember to check flying out of different airports. We are in Kansas and I always check about 5 airports and prices. We are willing to drive a few miles to get a GREAT rate (not just to save 5 dollars)

I realize I am in a different part of the country, but, I found a remarkable difference in fares when I changed our May ressies from a Tuesday departure to a Monday. I still don't understand why there was such a difference, but the exact same flight was almost $100 less for flying on a Monday...Delta Song through Orbitz, if you are curious...Good Luck!
