Airline issues

I thought that if you had kids under a certain age they could not sit by themselves on the plane, on our last flight they seperated my daughter from both me and my husband--but then quickly rearraged one of our seats upon finding out she was only 5. I think a problem will arise now that they are allowing people to pay for seat requests--since this will allow less flexibility for families and being able to sit young children with their parent.


Altho I am getting a kick out of picturing my 2 year old screaming his head off because he has to sit alone...good luck to the aircrew and the passengers sitting in his vicinity.

The way things are today they might make an emergency landing so Homeland Security can arrest them as a disruptive threat

And this is exactly why people are almost always willing to move to let a young child sit with his/her mother. Nobody else wants to sit with your screaming 2 yo either.

And m mother doesn't understand why I will spend 9 miles per gallon to stay off a plane.

My husband would rather drive also!!!! He hates to fly!

I love to fly that's how I got to Disney the first two times but with the way things are with the airlines nowdays I will stick to the highways. Atleast the government has set a 3 hour limit on sitting on the runway waiting to leave.

I hear ya!!! I used to say the same thing about my youngest, and I'm sure nobody would've been thrilled to sit with her either -- not when she was in one of her moods. Ugh!!!
