So I need to get a flight to Orlando for February so I am checking all the airline websites for deals.

From from Toronto I am checking WestJet, AirCanada and Air Transat (which is not good because they don't fly every day). Is there an airline I am missing there?

Then from Buffalo I am looking at Air Tran, Delta, Jet Blue, Southwest and United. Am I missing any?

I have never flown out of Buffalo, is there an airline I should avoid? Or is there much better than the others?

Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. I keep hearing people getting suc great deals out of Buffalo but what I have checked so far it isn't that much better than Toronto :confused3

I can't really help you with the missing airlines part, but when you are checking prices on the airline websites, make sure you "click through" until you get a final price with all fees/taxes/etc.

On the Air Canada site, you don't get this final price until after you choose an actual flight and click continue - from YYZ, expect the fees to be significant. Not sure about BUF.

Oh yes I always go to the end....the taxes out of pearson are ridiculous

Using one of the search engines like kayak.com will let you see the available flights and prices for most of the regular airlines at one time. It also lets you filter by a number of different criteria.

And if you don't mind driving an extra hour (if the price is right) Rochester is another good airport to fly from!

From YYZ you can also try Sunwing. Like Transat they don't fly daily but I think they still provide meals and headsets.

There is also Sprit Airlines flying out of Niagara Falls ,NY.
they go via Ft Lauderdale and they fly out in the middle of the night......but the prices are terrific.

Hamilton is an option as well. WestJet flies out of there. They just had a seat sale & I checked for Feb & it was $75 pp one way, but I think the sale is over. Taxes are less out of there as well & the airport is TINY & AWESOME!
