airline check in at the port

Does anyone know if Song airline has a check in counter at the port?

Song is part of Delta and I am pretty sure Delta has a desk at the port....but remember you can only take advantage of the airline check in if you are purchasing transfers. Recently DCL has been cracking down on non-transfer people using this service.

Thanks for the reply mmouse37! We do have the DCL transfers so we should be okay.

Yes, you claim your bags inside the terminal, a porter will bring them out and show you where they are, then you get in the Delta check in line which unfortuantely took us 45 minutes!!! If you have a later flight then stay on the ship. They folks coming out at 9 o'clock had a 5 minute wait. We came out aroung 8:10 and had to listen to bus engines and inhale diesel fumes while we inched along in the line. It was great though not having to check bags at the airport. Once you are Delta checked in you just go to the attendant who directs you to the next bus and off you go.

We came out at 9:00 as MamaQuack suggested. We breezed through customs, checked in without waiting, boarded the bus and we were at the airport by 10:00 for an 11:50 flight.

It was amazingly efficient and we didn't have to rush with the crowd.

It also gave us some time to enjoy the empty ship. We had a liesurely breakfast, played ping pong and watched the dolphins in the harbor. It was one of my favorite memories of the cruise.

Don't rush if you don't have to.
