hi, Ive been told airlines generally have sales in January for travel in September to LA, what were the best prices you got.
I saw on VA yesterday $1090 return for travel dates 9-17 sept

The lowest I have seen flights with VA were early $900s a couple of months ago. Flight Centre were having a sale. I didn't buy - but was very very tempted lol.

I thought mosr early birds were out now it seems earlier each year. Always a juggle when to jump in. You might get another $900+ or you might not. My rule of thumb is no more than $1100 but I usually manage just under $1000.

Another post on here just now noted that Cathay fares are (though maybe that's a were now though?) unreal. If I was you I would check them out. I haven't been following not planning on a trip in 2016.
