I've been watching airfare prices for our March 2004 trip ever since they've been available. I check the actual dates we want, which are ridiculous this far out, and also random dates that mirror our dates, Fri. through the second Sunday, and USAir at least seems to be coming down slightly. Tickets that were $222 RT for months are now $217. That's not a ton of money, even when applied to the 8 adults we're taking next trip, but it is lower than the $222 we paid last Nov., the best price for that flight in all of 2002. Is anyone noticing the same by other carriers? I've already decided not to wait past Thanksgiving week to buy as our flight fare seems to bottom out 14 weeks before take-off and rise after that, and I'll consider anything less than last year's cost to be a bargain. Might we see even better rates between now and Nov.?

I sure hope so. Last year I took advantage of the last minute August specials Delta had and could be persuaded to go again this year if the rates are similiar. I have been checking them and they are about $140. RT and the flights look half empty. Maybe...??

No, I check Norwest and American every day for next spring. Prices set at 299. no matter what day/time for NW.

American has flucutating prices, but cost is all over $300.

Annoying.

herc.

Keep watching the Delta flights on travelocity everyday. Every once in a while they throw a flight out there for a couple of hours that are fantastic, but you have to book immediately. I booked 4 of us for December at $123.00 plus tax from Ohio. Total bill was $730.00 with some odd cents. And the hours were exactly what I wanted. But you have to be real quick! By the time I went and told my girlfriends, they were gone! :( That was within a couple of hours. That flight is still available, but not at that price. I think that price popped up around 10:00 am. So keep checking!

Hi! I'm not sure this is the proper place to post so I apologize if it's not.

I have already purchased tickets from SWA but I went online to check out the availability of a different flight. While there I checked our current flight and it looks like I could save $45 per person. We purchased 6 tickets.

My question is... does anyone know if there is a chance that I might be able to get a refund or voucher. TIA.

I have read on this baord that people have gotten vouchers from them.
good luck!

Unfortunatly for my trip Dec 2003...I've been watching since Dec 2003 and the price has steadly gone up....Dec $240 and now Jun the price across the board seems $322...Southwest would be an option....if not we will probably just keep the train option....

The worst is when we flew in March 2003 I only paid $133 get for needing 6 tickets...
