I also use ITA. It's the search engine for Orbitz, but without the ads. You can't book there, though. You'll have to do to the airline's website or Orbitz (or Travelocity, etc) to book your flights.
I have explored Bookingbuddy.com before. It has you input your travel dates once and then gives you a matrix of different travel sites to shop at, ie: Orbitz, Travelocity, eetc. Saves you some typing!

So does Obritz. I second the motion to use the search engine to compare the flights, then call or go to the site of the airlines you want to use to book.~~
The farechase site will give you a great idea of who to book with. I forgot thats how I found the low fare and then I booked it direct through ATA to skip the fee.
