How long should I wait before booking? I am planning on traveling from boston, Providence, or hartford. All the specials around the $100 range expire Sept 29 or Oct. 1. My date are Oct 2-6. The cheapes fare I am finding right now is 232.50 out of hartford. Which has gone up $60 since last week. Should I wait a litle longer to see if the rates drop or if there are any promotions or do I buy now before they go up again?

The flights I have been watching out of Detroit for 11/29, returning 12/04 just went up from $229 to $246 this afternoon. I've been checking three times a day, because last year I was also checking three times a day and came home at lunch one day and they were down so I bought them and they were back up by dinner. I guess I waited too long this time, but I had heard that Spirit and NWA were in a little friendly competition. Oh well.

I've noticed the rate hike too . . .I was looking into taking a surprise 15th Wedding Anniversary Trip from Oct 9 - 13 with just me and DH . . .

Delta was 208.50 last week for that time frame . . .when I looked again this week it jumped up to $248.50 . . .geeze . . .I'm used to paying $178 now . . .I don't want to pay much more than that.
