Airfare Price Drop from Pitt. to MCO

I just got email from Travelocity that the roundtrip from Pittsburgh to MCO price dropped from $183 to $143. We already booked at $183, but that's a good price for anyone flying from this area.

Have you checked the details to see if you could get a credit for your flights?

I had booked with USAirways PIT-MCO for 211.20 each person. Now it is down to 155.20 each for the same exact flights! I just called USAirways and of course I can't get the cheaper tickets since I booked non-refundable tix originally. But they are sending me vouchers worth the difference on each ticket. That's 4 vouchers worth 56 each. Better than nothing. Of course, the vouchers cannot be combined (that would buy a ticket in and of itself) and they must each be used by the same passenger as held the original ticket (even the kids).

Given our family schedule, it's unlikely that the vouchers will get used at all. Still, I don't regret buying the tix when I did -- I had been watching the fares and they were really going UP at the time. I had no way of knowing they would drop this much. I have decided to stop looking at the fares.
