The up and down jumps really have been pretty crazy lately.
I saw the flights I wanted go from $263 to $221 to $198 then to $244, back to $221, back to $198 and now at $263 again.
I had set a target price of $220 so when I saw the $198 I grabbed it and I'm happy with it. It's hard to get a good price for a non-stop flight here in Cleveland to Orlando because Continental is the only airline that flies there non-stop, so you really have to watch and check daily. It's really weird though because the same date flights with Southwest are $288 and that is with a short lay over in Nashville...I've never seen Southwest so high... it has been consistent though and they are still higher than Continental even now.
Why would you pay more for a layover when you can get non-stop cheaper?
