Airfare Insane?

Flying from Philly 11/5 then back on 11/12 which is also called Jersey week at WDW when all the Jersey schools are closed. SW is only booking till the week before where the airfare is reasonable less then 400 roundtrip. AA and others are booking my dates but airfare is crazy for that week over 500 round trip.Has anyone ever flown from Philly during Jersey week to Orlando and if they have was there a big increase from other weeks.

god this is making me really LOL flying out of philly is maddness and 266 is DIRT I MEAN DIRT CHEAP..........you should buy that ticket left and right......no questions asked....you must never really fly out of philly if you think that is expensive......i am going down this week and we paid 350......good luck finding it cheap but you should feel blessed it was only 266.....we are the biggest city in the country with only 1 airport........NYC, BOS, DC, CHI, HOU, LA, SF, and i am sure i am missing one......we have zero comp.....

My MIL who is 85 and disabled would like to join us for a late aug.trip. I love the idea since she hasn't had a real vacation in over 15 years.We can easily get a 1bdr. for ADA but have been having a bear of a time finding decent airfare from Philly.The dates are aug20-25 or thereabouts.Southwest which we know would be best for our needs has minimal serve for those dates and the fare IMHO is outrageous.Anyone have any ideas?

Is Allentown (ABE) an option? Allegient is there and they fly into Sanford. It's worth a try. I'm in NJ, but only 20 miles from ABE, so I look at all the rates using Kayak. I often end up flying into Tampa. If you're renting a car, anyway, flying into Tampa is a double bargain as the car rentals are typically cheaper there, too.
