Airfare in July.

Has anyone flow out of Buffalo around July 4th?? DD's birthday is July 6th and we are thinking of taking our trip at that time instead of September. Would I have to pay a lot to fly out July 4th? We normally fly SWA as their prices are the best.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

In general it is pretty reasonable to fly on a holiday because most people want to be at their destination to start the holiday.

In 2008 we had to be in Orlando for a convention and we had to arrive on June 29th and stayed until July 13th. If we had booked in January we could have had airfare for $89 each way. The year before, 2007, SW had a sale for July that that fares were $34 each way. So of course I had to wait to see what sale would come up.....well it never did and we ended up driving down.
