Airfare HELP!!!!!!!

Hello!

So my sister and her boyfriend are on a flight out of LGA to MCO Saturday morning and I want to try and get on it. It is not showing up when I do a search for fares, but is it still possible to get added to standby if I call Delta directly? I really DO NOT want to fly alone, my mother just cancelled on going so this is LAST RESORT!

If anyone can give me ideas or any help that would be great!

I would think you'd need a different ticket on the same carrier for a later flight that day to try to stand by. But, if they aren't even selling tickets anymore, they have already sold more tickets than there are seats, so you may not have much of a chance.

On the bright side, the rest of your family might be asked to take a bump for a later flight.

If you really want to know, call the airline.

That's the best you can do. But if the flight is not even showing seats your chances are not great....

Heres a few things to try.

1. Try Orbitz and see if that flight comes up. If it does you can book it there for the extra $5.95 it would be worth it...BUT only after you try number 2 listed below.

2. On Deltas website...Do not use the box on the left side.
Click on Planning and reservation...drop down box
CLICK Plan a flight
CLICK online reservation
Click Reservations....fill out all your info and check the box that says search by schedule...this should bring up all the flights for the day of departure and hopefuuly the one your looking for is there.
(Sometimes with Delta they will only show you the 9 flights that have the lowest cost.) ( I called Delta customer service and the internet help told me how to do the above to get the flight times I wanted.)

Thanks for your tips! By using what you just posted, my sisters flights CAME UP just now (9:50am Friday)!!!!! BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!! (there is always a BUT!)

It's $650.00 ...oh well. It was great for a moment when my stomach went nuts because I couldn't believe I finally found the flights only to see the price LOL. Well if I start a "Get Mike to WDW" fun now, maybe I could raise $100
