Airfare from East Coast

I took the same flights from Newark in 2014. Those United flights are great. Sadly, I am looking for next June (with very specific dates, trying to squeeze in a trip between college semesters for my kids) and right now I am looking at $1069 for non-stop out of Newark and a one-stop (SFO) on the return. If I made it nonstop both ways its around $1300/pp x my group of 5 !!:sad::sad: It is about $70 cheaper pp on Hawaiian out of JFK, but coming from South Jersey, I'm not sure it's worth it. Flying from Philly is almost $200 more pp and neither flight is non-stop.

I am worried about booking air now, having to wait till my 7 month window before I can book Aulani... so unless a bargain shows up, I am holding off..... If only Southwest flew to HNL! :teeth:

Wow, expensive!!$$$ I would also be hesitant to book before you secure your reservation at 7 months! Good Luck, maybe they will come down,:wizard: June through August are HIGH airfare months, capitalize on summer demand months!

I was actually pretty happy with my $1035/person RT tickets from Minneapolis, to Kona, to Honolulu, back to Minneapolis. End of March into April. And non-stop back from Honolulu. Since can only go during spring break and would never go in the summer when Minnesota is nice, I was thrilled with non-stop one way (one stop on way out in Seattle) and total price under $5,000.

Just from doing some searching if anyone was planning on going in February Delta has nonstop from JFK to Honolulu Feb 4th - Feb 11th $582 round trip. That is a good deal.

Has anyone golfed at the course by Aulani, do they have a rental club program, what is the going green fees and is it worth it?

Started checking fares today. From RDU to HNL on Delta, April 23 - April 30, the fare was $1003/person. I am going to watch it, checking everyday and if it looks like that fare stays firm, I'll go ahead and book it. But hoping it will come down some.

Question - Is it worth getting the Delta credit card? Kind of planned on putting the flight on my Disney Chase card to get points to use at Aulani.

Check out The Points Guy.

If you're flying Delta, the credit card will give you free checked bags.
